Dear Pastor and Church,
I bring you very sincere greetings from our land and pray that you all are enjoying the Lord’s blessing. The Lord has been doing us good, and we are extremely grateful for His grace. The ministry is going on well, and we are hoping to ordain some of our mission leaders while we organize four of the missions.
The Radio ministry is going very well. I get calls from several listeners wanting to know God’s truth on a lot of issues. It is amazing how many are going to church but are still outside God’s family.
I want to share two stories from our Radio ministry with you. First is that of Teye John Kenney. He is about 38 years old. He has been calling me with questions after my broadcasts. I gave him several invitations to meet, but we could not due to his work schedule. One day he called that he was free, and we did meet. It was lots of questions, and finally he asked what it meant to be born again. I was not too surprised because of the church he told me he was a member of. After the explanation, I asked him if he will like to be born again. He said while I was speaking, he had the conviction of the Lord and has given his life to Him. I believed him because at a point in the discussion he suddenly became very quiet and kept looking intensely into my eyes. He left my house after two hours with some of my tracts with joy. I pointed him to the New Testament Baptist Church, and I am hoping to see him there some day.
The next person is Nathaniel. He lives over a little over 8 miles from my home. He called me after one of our broadcasts, and I arranged a meeting half way. The first day he told me a lot about himself. I shared the gospel with him and we parted with him carrying four of my booklets away with him. We met the following week and I again went over the gospel with more explanations. He told me he had thoroughly read two of the booklets with the accompanying Bible passages. I asked him if he understood everything. He said yes. I asked if he has given his life to Jesus Christ. He said Yes with a broad smile. I continued with assurance of and benefits of salvation. It was he who asked me about his baptism. At the end of our study he told me he had walked the four miles to our meeting. I was shocked and asked why. He said the motorcyclist who gave him a free ride the first day was out of town and he did not have money, AND HIS SALVATION WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO HIM. We have met again for studies on baptism and he has visited the New Testament Baptist Church twice. My innermost prayer and desire is that he will be established and we can start a mission where he lives. He is married with three children and is unemployed at the moment.
I am so thankful for the fruits of the Radio ministry we share together. I do believe with time the Lord will make us see more results.
Please pray with us as we prepare for the organizing of some of our missions and ordination of the leaders.
My family is doing well by God’s grace. Continue to have us in your prayers. God bless you all.
Brother Samuel, Gloria and our young adults.
