Ansah Prayer Letter

NEWSLETTER FROM BROTHER EKOW ANSAH, AGONA SWEDRU, GHANA.

JULY 2024

Dear Pastor and Church,

The Lord has continued to shower His grace into our lives and we are very grateful.  The work here continues to be blessed in spite of several challenges and we know it is our Lord who is in control.

The Asafo mission is doing well.  They have been moulding blocks so they can put up a good place for a meeting.  It is taking a while but they are on it.  At the moment there are twenty adults with occasional visitors.  There are about thirty children but not all come on a given Sunday.  Their leader is Brother Owusu and he is doing quite well.  His family is well.  Brother Richard Odonkor and Sister Gifty also help a lot here.  This group meets every day at dawn before dispersing to their various work places.

The Nkum mission is also doing well with Brother Adu as their leader.  Two of their members have gone to be with the Lord recently.  They will love to start building on their land but the court case has not been settled still.  We just do not know for sure when this will come to an end BUT WE ARE TRUSTING THE LORD.  Recently they started an outreach in a nearby town.

The Otuam work has not seen much improvement since the leader left town because of ill health.  Attendance has come down to eight and work on the church building has come to a standstill.  We are however not giving up on them.

Our radio ministry is going on well and I am thankful to the Lord for the listeners who call in to ask questions.

We recently had a three days leadership conference at the Swedru church.  It was from a Thursday to Saturday with our missionary, Brother Samuel Nyaunu, being the main speaker.  He spoke on “The Man God Uses” using Moses as our main example.  He also spoke on “Knowing the God we are serving” and finally “Our Security as believers.”  It was a great time and we enjoyed it very much.

By the grace of God I am doing well with my new wife.  We are getting to know each other quite well.  I am extremely grateful to the Lord for giving her to me.

I want to thank you my sponsoring and supporting churches for all you continue to do for me.

God bless you all,

Brother Ekow Ansah.
