November/December 2016
Dear Pastor and Church,
I bring you greetings with prayer that the God of all grace will continue to keep you all in His will. We are doing well. Our God continues to be gracious to us, and we are very thankful.
The Kuntananse mission is doing well with a few additions in recent times. Brother Kobena Kwakye and his family are our new converts. We have a few we are hoping to baptize next month. Brothers Bright Odoom and Isaac are providing good leadership here and we are very grateful. Our hope and prayer is that the Lord will lead one of them to be the pastor of this work in the near future. The fellowship in this mission has always been warm. We need more men here.
I thank God for the situation at Otuam. I visited them a couple of weeks ago and I enjoyed them. Two new people have joined them and we continue to receive visitors. The last Sunday of the year we saw twenty-five adults and a few visitors. The leader is Brother Addae, and he is a faithful brother. Even though he is not in the town where the mission is situated, he makes every effort to be reular at the meetings. We are seriously looking for an accommodation for him.
The new missions at Nkum and Duakwa are gaining grounds. We have been able to get accommodation for the leader at Nkum so he has moved there with his wife and children. We are looking into a two-acre land being offered to us by one of the indigenous families of the area. We would love to have this for our future development. Duakwa is very new, and the leader, Brother Vincent, is doing quite well here.
Our leadership school is also doing well. We have a new student by name Ben Moore. We are twelve. We are learning a lot in preparation to becoming pastors of the missions in the future.
The radio programme is also going on well. The feedback we are receiving makes us realize that God is touching people through this ministry.
My family is doing well by God’s grace. We want to thank all of you for your partnership in these past years. We are trusting the Lord to continue to bless you all for your love and care. We especially want to thank our sponsoring church for their faithfulness and love to us. God bless you all.
In Christ,
Brother Ekow Ansah.
