October  2024

Dear Pastor and Church,

The grace of God is always sufficient for us. May His Name be praised.

Our Mission at Otuam is having real challenges. With the absence of a real leader, and several of the members gone out of town, attendance has drastically gone down. Otuam is a fishing town on the coast, and the people move around a lot in search of where they can get good catch because their livelihood depends on it. I go there every other week to help though. One thing I can say for sure, the few that are constant are growing and have a good fellowship. We have bought a piece of land here for future development though. They are still meeting in my mother’s house.

The Nkum Mission has 15 adults who are very regular. Most of them are peasant farmers and this is what keeps them around. The young ones are not stable as they sometimes move into the bigger towns in search of jobs. The leader, Brother Adu, is a very committed man. He has tried to keep them together. He is also a farmer. Our great challenge here is with the meeting place. The land we bought for a meeting place has been the subject of litigation for awhile now. We are however trusting the Lord to end the case for us so we can put up a good structure for a meeting place. We have bought some materials to put up the structure.

The Asafo Mission is doing quite well. They have developed the habit of meeting every day at dawn before dispersing to their various places of work. The leader here is Brother Felix assisted by Brother Isaac. Sister Gifty is also worth mentioning for her zeal in helping to get things done. They also have bought a piece of land and moulded some blocks for a future building.

My Radio Ministry is going on well. I really enjoy it when listeners call with their questions and sometimes even contributions. The station has been talking about increasing our fee, but it has not been done and we thank the Lord. We will not complain for the fee has been the same for some five or so years.

We have not been able to resume our Leadership Classes for some time now. Pray with me to be able to reschedule myself so we can resume at the beginning of next year.

My wife and children are doing well. And so also are my grandchildren. My youngest son, Ekow Nyaunu, got married some two months ago. It is so good the Lord gave me a new wife, otherwise I would have been so alone. OUR GOD IS GOOD!

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to my sponsoring church and all of you my supporting churches for all your love and care for me. Thank you for your finances and your prayers. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

                                                                                    In Christ,

Brother Ekow Ansah and Sister Mary
