May-June 2025
Dear Pastor and Church,
We bring you sincere greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We pray that this meets you doing well and enjoying the Lord’s grace. We are fine here. The Lord has been doing us good.
The ministry is going on well. In May we baptized eleven converts to the glory of God.
After many years of studies and prayers, we have gotten to where we are finally organizing more of the works and ordaining pastors. On the 8th of June we organized the Akateng Mission and ordained Brother Emmanuel Ayertey Tetteh as the pastor. We did it in the Asesewa Grace Baptist Church because their meeting place is not yet completed. Pastor Abraham Ayumu is the pastor at Asesewa.
On the same day we also ordained another man for the Asesewa Grace Baptist Church. This is a man who has been part of our training. It was a beautiful time. Present were Brother Ekow Ansah, our Missionary in Agona Swedru, Pastor Abraham Ayumu, Pastor Anthony Narh of the Odometa Baptist Church, and Pastor Jonathan Adjabeng from Crossmark Baptist Church who has been an integral part of the training. We have three more missions to organize and ordain pastors for. We are hoping to finish this assignment by September. There will be three more to attend to by the end of the year: Meryiwa Mission, Tsibu Mission and Todome Mission. The leaders here need a little more fine tuning. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR US.
The Radio ministry too is going on well. Recently I had a call from a man living 450 miles to the north of where I live. I was pleasantly surprised (maybe shocked). I never knew we are picked up that far. He said he listens regularly and principally it is because it is in his mother’s language (mine too). A young man I am now in a study with, Nathaniel Nuertey, also made contact with me because of the radio. He is now a baptized convert and has joined the New Testament Baptist Church here. There is this other brother living some 10 miles away. He has made it his ministry to gather people at his place on my broadcast times to listen. I want to thank you very much for your regular support and prayer that is making all these possible. I wish I know all the people being saved and getting rooted as a result of the broadcasts, but I cannot. IT IS ENOUGH THAT HEAVEN KNOWS IT ALL AND WE WILL MEET THEM THERE.
The information we are receiving is that our Pastor, Brother P. D. Taylor, is not doing too well since his fall a month ago. He is wearing a neck brace and is in physical therapy. Please join us in prayer for him.
My Gloria and our young adults are doing well. Delali, Makafui and Selassie have jobs with the government. The last one, Senyo, is still in London working and staying with my senior brother.
God bless you all and thank you for your faithful support for all these years.
Sincerely in Christ,
Brother Samuel & Gloria
